Pregnancy Test Date
PREGNANCY DUE DATE CALCULATION
When a woman is pregnant she is very eager to know things that cannot be definitive. One of these things would be to know when your pregnancy due date is. But how does one calculate her due date? Usually the due date of pregnancy is calculated based on the first day of the last menstrual period you experienced. The last menstrual period is also called LMP. Pregnancy usually occurs 266 days from the time the baby is conceived. This might go up to 280 days as well. If we are to speak in terms of months, this is winds up to more or less 9 months or 40 weeks.
But many women do not keep a track of their menstrual dates. So what if you are one of them and do not know when your last period happened? In this case your doctor will assist you by conducting an early ultrasound. The earlier this ultrasound is carried out the more accurate will you determined date be. Sometimes however, your determined due date that is based on your last period is not correct. This might happen if your implantation bleeding is tested rather than your actual period. Well in that case how do you know? You visit your doctor yet again to get yourself checked because it is very important for you to have an accurate due date. It helps to prevent wrong prenatal test results as well as saving your child from being born premature.
Some expecting mothers like to see their baby grow inside the womb but for this, due dates are very important to know. X-rays at wrong dates might prove to be harmful for the sensitive bay inside the womb so only if you are aware of your due date and can tell your gynecologist how ready your baby is to allow tests to be conducted over the body will it be safe to carry out the wanted procedure. However it is important for a mother to understand that a due date is not a definitive date. Doctors rather give a range like a month or a tentative week than to mention a specific date as in different cases different babies take different times to get delivered. So an already estimated due date may cause the baby to get delivered before or after the time that is deemed right by the mother’s womb.
Also stating a specific due date causes the mother to get stressed as the date draws nearer and that might not be healthy for the unborn child. If the mother is marking a calendar it obviously does not mean that the baby can read it. So it is the mother’s responsibility to act responsibly and keep herself from worrying unnecessarily and simply wait for the baby to give signs. What should you do if your due date has passed? The only thing to do in that case is to console yourself by telling yourself the date was only an estimation and not definitive in the first place. It is natural that the true date may vary up to two weeks of the due date. So do not worry unless it pushes till really far.

The Pregnancy Test $3.95 Ordinarily, I’m a fan of pink–lovely color, does smashing things for the complexion. But not when it’s the bright, glaring stripe staring back at me on the pregnancy test. Then, pink is the color of major oops, of morning sickness, of boyfriends who seemed decent but now are part of some Jerk Witness Protection Program. Still, I’ve got a few things going for me–bitter humor, a divine right to eat till I’m the size of Marlon Brando, and good friends who’ve managed to get me a job interview with one Damien Sharpton: in need of a personal assistant, and some say, a good, swift kick in the arse. If you want to make a lasting impression, by all means, toss your cookies in your future boss’s wastebasket, which is located directly between his excruciatingly sexy legs. Apparently, Mr. Gorgeous-But-Unbearably-Anti-Social must like personal assistants who violate his trash can, because I got the job. And if I can avoid him via text messaging for the next seven months of health insurance, everything will be just fine. Except that he’s just asked–no, insisted–that I go with him on a business trip to the Caribbean. Gulp, Ordinarily, this would be cause for celebration. Ordinarily, I’d shave my legs, pack my bikini, revel in day-glo drinks and my seething lust for Mr. Swarthy-And-Secretive. But there’s nothing ordinary about this situation…which means it could be absolutely extraordinary. |

The Back-up Plan (Widescreen) $9.96 After years of dating, Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) has decided waiting for the right one is taking too long. Determined to become a mother, she commits to a plan, makes an appointment and decides to go it alone. That same day, Zoe meets Stan (Alex O’Loughlin) – a man with real possibilities. Trying to nurture a budding relationship and hide the early signs of pregnancy becomes a comedy of errors for Zoe and creates confusing signals for Stan. When Zoe nervously reveals the reason for her unpredictable behavior, Stan commits fully and says he’s in. Never before has love seen a courtship where a wild night of sex involves three in a bed – Stan, Zoe and that ever-present massive pregnancy pillow. Or, where “date night” consists of being the “focal point” at a near-stranger’s water birth which does for kiddie pools what “Jaws” did for swimming in the ocean. The real pregnancy test comes when both of them realize they really don’t know each other outside of hormonal chaos and birth preparations. With the nine month clock ticking, both begin to experience cold feet. Anyone can fall in love, get married and have a baby but doing it backwards in hyper-drive could be proof positive that they were made for each other. Deleted Scenes, Featurette. Languages: English, Subtitles: English; “Belly Laughs: Making ‘The Back-Up Plan’”. |
